Ingredients
Porridge:
- 2 ½ dl / 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 ½ dl / 1 cup plant milk
- 3 ½ dl / 1 1/2 cup water
- A big pinch of salt
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 scoop PB protein powder
Topping:
- 1 dl / ½ cup tahini
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 orange or clementine
- 1 handful salted almonds
- 2 tbsp almond butter (optional)
- pomegranate seeds
- plant milk
Here's how you do it
Place oats, milk, water, salt and cinnamon in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer on a medium to low heat. Stir until the water is just absorbed and the porridge has thickened, about 4-5 minutes.
Pour tahini in a bowl and use an electric whisk to beat air into it. Add the maple syrup and stir it through the tahini. Peel the orange and cut it into segments. Divide the porridge into two bowls. Top it with the sweetened tahini, orange segments, salted almonds (and an extra drizzle of almond butter to make it extra luxurious). Finish with some pomegranate seeds on top and a drizzle of plant milk on the side.
